hi guys,
I just licensed and rode my '06 XB12X Ulysses for the first time today. I have a '99 X1 Tuber already, and a Guzzi Stelvio adventure bike that I rode to Inuvik last June. The Ulysses has big shoes to fill...I am riding it to the Arctic Circle in Alaska this June
My first impression was that the steering head bearings are too tight, and that the brake disc is dragging a bit and pulling the front wheel to the right. This may take a bit to get used to. It sure is light though!

Only DP pads I see are metallic, which worries me...aren't the front rotors hard to get? Spare belt makes sense. Yeah, I have used All Ballz for my RZ350. I am just surprised that it feels odd, since this bike only has 26K on it, and the former owner really babied it.

OK, first impressions were clouded by a low front tire! LOL. I thought the guy I got it from had gone over everything, so I just unloaded it and rode it home...once I got that sorted, it rode great. You have to love how that front wheel just dials up unto the air! LOL

Really comfortable bike. Love the pull from 2k. My Stelvio doesn't come in until 4k, but it pulls to 8. Kind of weird to hit the rev limiter before 7.
Love the light weight of the Ulysses!
