Re: This is interesting
when is the key
I really have no desire to have a new EBR bike, sure they will have better tech, developed by the guy who made our beloved tubers and XB's (and the ugly ones too , 1125's)
But I digress, if Buell had been named Mujibars Bikes and were made in a far off land, as long as they still looked like the XB'x (personal preference), were following the K.I.S.S. methodology of thinking and brought the sweet grin to my face that XB's have always instilled then I would be good with that.
The whole made in America (most of the bikes parts are sourced from overseas) dealio is pretty much flag waving patriotism imho that our friends to the south are known for.
It's a motorcycle that is simple in it's execution, aesthetically pleasing, unique unto itself and regardless of who or where it's made will have it's place in motorcycle history and I do not believe the following that tubers and XB's in particular enjoy will not be replicated by EBR.
