Check Yer Fuses
So, there I was in Kemmerer Colorado with no headlight and no starter. Dead battery said I? ... Nope, new battery, (found in Jackson Wyoming after push starting every time I stopped for gas), didn't fix it. Push started all the way to Nelson, BC where I did actually finish the rally on time, barely. Several of us put our heads together and discovered that the "headlight fuse" (so marked on the fuse box under the seat) was blown. Who knew the headlight and starter were the same fuse? I sure didn't. I do now.
This is also the first motorcycle I have ever owned that fused either the headlight or the starter. I shoulda' looked at the wiring diagram before I left.
I also now know most of the gas stations between Kemmerer Co. and Nelson BC that are at the tops of hills.
And no, I hadn't heard of Kemmerer Colorado either until I stayed there on day two of the rally.

Re: Check Yer Fuses
Oops, Kemerer is in Wyoming, not Colorado.
