same levers . i am actually a fan of the belt over the chain . the way the buells (both) are designed if the chain broke in the bikes current configuration there could be catastrophic destruction . Belts have been used for over 15 years on HD products . The main difference between the HD and Buell is the stress point on the Buells in regaurds to the belt and IMHO i think the torsion spring for the xb series helps that so much . plus with a belt break it is a clean break with no damage and on the Buell bikes it is so easy to change .HD bikes take over 4.5 hours to change to the cost of about $900 plus tax while the buell is about 15 minutes and $250 plus tax . Chains always have to be cleaned ,adjusted and waxed/oiled . If a chain breaks the damage can easily exceed $1000 for repairs . So i am definitely a fan of the belt but thats just me cheers

totally agree with you there Way, 17 horses over the years and BamBam is the only one I've owned that was belt drive and I am digging it!

Holy crap what a big differance. No idea why Harley is so popular with that kind of shaby work manship. But yeah... there still cool.

So as we now know there was no engine seize on buellguys bike . there is a plastic piece around the 1125 throttle body that was loose ans when buellguy was trying to wheelie nearest we can figure is the plastic piece lodged in the butterfly and lock the throttle wide open when the bike bounced on the first touch down from the wheelie bump.
